INTERFAITH CEREMONIES FOR All RITES
OF PASSAGE
This Interfaith Ministry affirms that there is one God and
that the path home to our Source may take many forms. Interfaith
walks among all religions and the interfaith minister is an
ambassador who is able to build bridges between different faiths,
cultures and races by creating ceremonies that reflect the beauty
of diversity.
The following interfaith services that celebrate life's major
rites of passage are available:

Naming Ceremonies:
When Israel was about to receive the Torah,
God said to them:
"I am giving you the Torah. Present me good guarantors
that you will keep it and I shall give it to you."
They said:
"Let our ancestors be our guarantors."
But God said:
"Your ancestors are not good enough. Bring me good guarantors
that you will keep it and I will give it to you."
They said:
"Lord of the Universe, our prophets will be our guarantors.
"
But God said:
"Your prophets are not sufficient. Bring me good guarantors
that you will keep it and I will give it to you."
They said:
"Let our children be our guarantors."
And God Said:
"They certainly are good guarantors. For their sake I will
give you the Torah."
Midrash, Shir HaShirim Rabba 1: 24
There is nothing more joyous and fulfilling than welcoming
a new life into this world. The privilege of blessing the child
and conveying the love and pride of his or her parents and relatives
in a Naming Ceremony is often given to an Interfaith Minister.
Welcoming a child of an interfaith, interracial, intercultural,
same sex or traditional couple is a very special event and the
Interfaith Minister performs this ceremony with the respect
due the rich heritage he or she is born into.
Welcome little one!
Blessed may you be all your days, all your life;
Blessed may you be wherever you are,
In all your comings and in all your goings.
